Ranjitha RK
Co-Founder, Strategy & Product, Gully Group
Works out what a business actually needs before anybody writes code — then owns the product that comes out of it.
Ranjitha works as a business analyst and product manager across the Gully Group companies. The two jobs sit either side of the same problem: understanding what a business genuinely needs, and then being answerable for what gets built.
As a business analyst she sits with the people doing the work, maps how a process actually runs rather than how the manual says it runs, and writes requirements a developer can build from without guessing. Most of the difficult part is in that gap — what somebody asks for is rarely what they need.
As product manager for GullySystem she owns the roadmap and priorities, and leads cross-functional teams through design, development and launch. She does the same for GullyHR's HR consulting practice — talent management, employee engagement, organisational efficiency — and works on sales strategy and coaching at GullySales.
She started as a system engineer at UST Global in Thiruvananthapuram, which is where the technical grounding comes from, and moved into analysis and product from there.
She holds a B.E. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology, Puttur.
