How we count
Where each number comes from
Worth stating plainly, because impact figures in this sector are frequently invented.
Sessions completed
Events marked completed after they happened. Scheduled and cancelled sessions are not counted.
Participants reached
Attendance recorded on the day, not registrations. People register and do not turn up; we count the room.
Contributors
People with a published profile who have given time. Somebody who offered but has not yet done a session is not in this number.
Hours given
Session length multiplied by the people who ran it. Preparation time is real and is not counted, because we cannot verify it.
