Spent twenty-two years in software, most of it responsible for the people doing the work rather than doing it himself.
Rajesh has spent twenty-two years in software — quality engineering, programme management and customer escalations across enterprise client/server, web, e-commerce, financial, ERP, storage and cloud products.
He was Senior Manager of Engineering Escalations at VMware for over seven years, running a team of eight programme managers across compute, storage, networking and security for Europe, China, Japan and India, accountable for resolving customer escalations against defined SLAs. Before that he managed quality engineering at Responsys (acquired by Oracle), for Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo! Mail, and led the Information Management Software Group at EMC.
He now manages digital application engineering projects at Indiumsoft, working with global clients from inception through to sustenance.
He won Yahoo!'s Global Odyssey award for his contribution to product internationalisation, and has spent much of his career coaching people through the transition most engineers find hardest — from doing the work to being answerable for other people doing it.
He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communications from KVG College of Engineering, Mangalore University.
