Harveen Kaur
Co-Founder & COO, Gully Group
Ran placements for three years before moving into HR consulting, so she has watched the hiring process from both ends of the table.
Harveen is co-founder and chief operating officer across the Gully Group companies, responsible for operations in all three.
At GullyHR she oversees HR services for businesses of every size — strategic workforce planning through to performance management — and the strategic guidance underneath them. Her specialisms are HR consulting and HR policy: the documents an organisation is judged by when something goes wrong, and which most small businesses copy from somewhere else and never read again.
At GullySales she runs operations for sales strategy, lead generation and sales coaching. Content marketing is a certified specialism, and it is where the marketing and HR halves of her work meet — how an organisation talks about itself is most of what decides who applies to it.
Before that she spent three years as Placement Manager at Jetking Infotrain in Kanpur, which means she has taken a great many students through the hiring process from the employer's side of it. She was Centre Manager at CADD Academy, and Business Manager at CADD Centre Training Services in Lucknow before that.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Subharti University, and both a BA and a master's degree in Psychology from Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Kanpur University.
