Every cohort has students who want to build something. Almost none know what that involves.
They picture funding, apps and pitch decks. Founders describe the actual work: finding somebody with a problem, selling before the product is ready, pricing it, and staying solvent long enough to learn. This session makes entrepreneurship a visible, understood option rather than a vague ambition.
Entrepreneurship is more than starting a startup.
Students hear the word and picture funding rounds and pitch competitions. The path is far wider: a service business, a family business grown with new systems, a niche consultancy, a manufacturing operation, freelancing that becomes a company, or an engineering problem in an industry nobody has bothered to fix.
The question is not whether everybody should become an entrepreneur. It is whether the students who want to actually understand what they are choosing.

A 30-day experiment
- Week 1 — identify ten problems around you, and speak to people experiencing three of them
- Week 2 — choose one problem and speak to at least five potential users
- Week 3 — build the smallest useful version, or simply an offer
- Week 4 — show it and ask for commitment: feedback, a pilot, a signup, a pre-order, or a first paying customer
- The objective is learning, not building a company in a month

How the session runs
A founder describes the reality behind the pitch deck. Students then work the path from problem to customer to solution to payment. Two or three entrepreneurs each share one thing that worked, one that failed and one they wish they had known. Students bring ideas to a clinic where founders ask the uncomfortable questions — who is the customer, what problem, why would they pay — and anybody interested leaves with a 30-day experiment they can actually run.
